Product Info Plastic modular chain
Plastic modular chain is a type of conveyor belt that can achieve a wide conveying surface by interconnecting engineering plastic modular links in a brick-like shape, available in wide and Mold-to-Width types.
Chain types such as "closed type", "open type", "net type", "flight type", "rubber type" and "magnet type" can be selected according to application and shape of conveyed material.
A wide range of conveyor peripheral parts such as dedicated sprockets, idlers, plastic rails, chain guide parts and bearing units are also available.

All parts are made of plastic, making them lightweight and easy to handle.
Plastic modular chains consist of three parts made of plastic - "modular link", "pin" and "plug", and are very lightweight compared to steel chains.
Chain disconnecting work is easy, partial repair and maintenance time can be shortened.
No special tools are required for disconnecting work, and disconnecting work can be done easily. Refer to the instruction manual of each product for disconnecting/connecting method.

Extensive line-up allows for a variety of layouts
It can be used in various layouts, environments and places, including horizontal as well as inclined conveyor, 90/180 degrees/S-curve conveyor, forward and reverse conveyor, shower equipment, and so on.

Features of Wide type and Mold-to-Width type
This is a chain with a single-module configuration, which can be used in combination with wide type of the same series, maintaining the features of Plastic Modular chain, which allows for common conveyor design.
Ideal for single filing from wide width conveyors and conveyance such as divert.

- ・Plate top surface is smooth and no openings
- ・Lineup of magnet types with magnets built into the chain
Transover type
- ・Possible to transfer 90-degrees as one side of plate is tapered.
- ・Used at the connecting section of right-angle conveyors to eliminate product being jammed.
- ・With right taper or left taper in the traveling direction
- ※Taper: Diameter, width, thickness, etc. of elongated structure are tapered.
Open type
- ・Plate top surface has openings
- ・Excellent washability compared to closed types, ideal for draining and cooling applications.
Rubber type
- ・High friction type by double injection molding (integral molding) on the conveyance surface
- ・Inclined conveyance on plate top surface prevents slipping of conveyed material such as cases
