Use a lubricant appropriate for your operating temperature.

Notes

  • ・Do not use if there is a risk of the chain directly contacting food or flakes and wear debris mixing in with food.
  • ・When using in situations where flakes and wear debris will pose a problem, install an appropriate cover or contact a Tsubaki representative about chain selection.
  • ・Though nickel is not subject to the Japan Food Sanitation Law or the Industrial Safety and Health Law, be advised that plating on sliding parts can peel.

When selecting sprocket specifications

It is necessary to select a sprocket specification that corresponds to the customer's operating environment and the chain specification used.

Dedicated sprockets are required for surface treated Double pitch chain NP Series. Please consult us for details.

Galvanic corrosion may occur when this chain is used with stainless steel sprockets, promoting premature roller wear.
