Product Info Plastic block chain
Plastic Block chain is a chain with a simple structure in which block-shaped links are connected with connecting pins.
RS drive chain sprockets can be used, and a smaller chain pitch (9.525 - 25.4 mm) than the top chain allows for a smaller dead space for smoother transfers.
Small chain widths (13-63 mm) allow installation in small spaces.
※Snap Cover chains with a plastic cover installed on a steel chain with large allowable load are also available.
Selection can be made according to the load and the atmosphere of use.

Protects conveyed products: Suppresses scratch of the product caused by sliding
Plastic conveyor chains with a same chain pitch with RS chain, and has versatility.
Block-shaped, smooth conveying surface with excellent sliding properties reduces the risk of scratches caused by sliding of valuable products and components.

RS sprocket (standard) can be used
RS sprockets for general-purpose drive chains (JIS standard, ISO standard products) can be used as is.
They are also readily available and can be purchased from a wide range of materials (material, number of teeth, etc.).

Space saving:Enables a simple conveyor design.
A chain pitch of 9.525 to 25.4mm (equivalent to RS35~RS80) is available.
As with RS roller chain, compact conveyor designs are possible, contributing to space savings.
※For Snap Cover chains, chain pitch of 9.525 to 31.75mm (equivalent to RF06B~RS100) is available.

Features of Plastic Block chain/Snap Top chain
Made of plastic, rust-free and hygienic
Self-lubricating characteristics of plastic allow it to be used without lubrication, keeping workplace beautiful.
In addition, simple structure of block-shaped links, connected by joint pins, makes maintenance easy.
It can be used in a variety of applications, such as in environments where oil is not permitted and to prevent products from being scratched, and is used in a wide range of industries, including food (food containers), circuit boards (electronic components) and pallet (case) transport.
A large number of chain series are available and can be selected according to environment of use.
