Product Info Synchronous Belts / Belt Sprockets
Tsubaki synchronous belt is a toothed belt made of rubber and is also called a toothed belt.
By engaging tooth profile provided on belt/belt sprocket (gear), rotation can be reliably transmitted without slipping like a V-belt or flat-belt that is transmitted only by friction.
By embedding glass, aramid or carbon fiber core wires inside, they have high tensile strength and are used in applications where accurate positioning and high synchronization are required.

Synchronous belt
Tsubaki's synchronus belt adopts a rational circular tooth profile based on elaborate engagement theory. PX Belts that realize dramatic better performance and their water proof type, Ultra PX Belts with improved configuration material, Long unconnected open-ended belts that are ideal for reciprocating motion, and Shinayaka 530 type that generate minimal rubber debris are available.
Ultra PX Belt line-up includes HC type which has more than double the transmission capacity of PX Belt, HY type which has a hybrid core of carbon and glass for dramatically increased strength and durability, and Oil proof type which has the same transmission capacity as HC type but can be used even in an atmosphere exposed to oil and water.
