1. Locking principle
The inner diameter of the belt sprocket and the outer diameter of the sleeve are tapered. The belt sprocket slides along the tapered surface when the locking bolt is tightened.
A wedge effect generates P・P' force that pushes down on the shaft and inner taper face.
These P・P' force generates friction that tightly connects the Belt Sprocket to the shaft.
