Drawing Library Hypoid Motor TA, TR Series
Series
HMTA:This type is supplied with a three-phase motor.
HMTR:This type is supplied with a three-phase high efficiency motor.
HRTA:The gear reducer without a motor is available with a double output shaft or with an adapter for mounting a multipurpose flange motor.
Motor Capacity
For the HMTA or HMTR: this is the motor capacity.
For the HRTA: this indicates the equivalent capacity of the motor.
Frame number
This indicates the size of the gear reducer. For most models, this is the same value as the output shaft diameter.
This is automatically determined by the motor capacity and reduction ratio.
Mounting type
H:The output shaft is hollow.
U:The output shaft is solid, and the unit is designed for face mounting.
L:The output shaft is solid, and the unit is designed for foot mounting.
Reduction ratio
This indicates the reduction ratio.
The range is separated into sections that correspond to the frame number.
Shaft Arrangement
L:On this type, the mounting code is for feet mounts (L), and the solid output shaft protrudes to the left side.
R:On this type, the mounting code is for feet mounts (L), and the solid output shaft protrudes to the right side.
T:The solid output shaft protrudes on both sides.
S:On this type, the mounting code is for face mount (U), and the solid output shaft protrudes on the mounting surface side.
No symbol: leave the shaft arrangement symbol blank if you specify hollow type (H) for the mounting code.
Package symbol
No symbol: Leave the package symbol blank for a reducer with a motor and no brake, or a reducer without a motor but with a double shaft.
B:For a reducer with a motor, add to select a motor with a brake.
FI:For a reducer without a motor, add if the reducer should have an adapter for mounting a motor.
K:On this type, the output shaft is a hollow shaft and a Power-Lock will be mounted to the driven machine shaft.
BE:A rotary encoder will be mounted to the rear of the motor. This specifies a motor with a brake.
SR:This specifies a motor with a Shock Relay, an electronic overload protection device.
Option symbol A
Z:This specifies a motor that can be used with a variable frequency drive.
W:This specifies a motor suitable for outdoor installation.
WC:This specifies a motor with a brake with a continuous rating for outdoor use.
P:This specifies a plastic terminal box.
J:This specifies a motor suitable for installation in areas subject to water.
V:This specifies the power supply voltage will be doubled.
V1:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 380VAC, and 50Hz.
V2:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 380VAC, and 60Hz.
V3:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 415VAC, and 50Hz.
V4:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 460VAC, and 60Hz.
N:This specifies compliance with the CE marking directives.
N2:This specifies compliance with UL standards.
*N3:This specifies CCC compliance.
H:This specifies an aluminum terminal box.
Q:The brake can be manually disengaged.
M:The motor can be turned manually from the fan side.
A1:This specifies an ambient operating temperature range from 0 to 60℃.
A2:This specifies an ambient operating temperature range from -30 to 40℃.
