Series

DK:This unit is suitable for loading torque that remains consistent regardless of the rotating speed.

DZ:This unit is suitable for loading torque that remains consistent regardless of the rotating speed where speed reduction must be performed at zero rotation or over a wide range.

DB:This unit is suitable when the target machine requires consistent horsepower even when the rotating speed changes, and when the loading torque changes inversely proportional to the rotating speed.

Capacity code

This indicates the capacity of the drive.

DISCOMounting type

A:The unit is designed to be mounted using the feet on the DISCO variable speed drive.

F:The DISCO variable speed drive is designed for flange mounting. The gear reducer may have feet attached to it.

Drive type

M, ME:This specifies a directly connected 4-pole motor.

Reducer code

R:This specifies an R type with a gear reducer.

T:This specifies a T type with a gear reducer.

Reduction ratio

This indicates the reduction ratio if the unit has a gear reducer.

Mounting code for gear reducer

A:This type is for foot mounting.

F:This type is for flange mounting.

VD or VDC: This type is for vertical mounting with the flange.
This specifies a cooling fan for motors 3.7 kW or higher, and sets the code to VDC.

Special package symbol

You can specify the mounting direction of the handle for manual handle operation.

D:Vertical foot mount, downward output shaft F:Vertical foot mount, upward output shaft

 R:Wall mount, right-hand operation L:Wall mount, left-hand operation

 U:Ceiling Mount

You can specify the orientation of the miter gear box for mechanical remote control.

 M:Control shaft on motor side

S:Control shaft on output shaft side

You can choose the type of electrical remote control.

E:Basic control: you can control the speed with a pilot motor.

P:Potentiometer control: you can control the speed with a pilot motor, and detect the position where the speed changes.

You can choose a motor with special specifications.

 W:Outdoor type X:Enhanced safety and explosion-proof

 Y:Pressure-resistant and explosion-proof B:With brake

 V:Voltage doubler (400/400/440V,50/60/60Hz)

You can specify the location of the handle and motor terminal box looking from output shaft.
The standard positions are with the handle on the right and the terminal box on the left.

2:Handle on left side, terminal box on right side

3:Handle on right side, terminal box on right side

4:Handle on left side, terminal box on left side
