Series

EWJ・EW: This model is primarily for foot mounting. This specifies the EWJ Series for sizes 70 or smaller, and the EW Series for sizes 80 or above.

SWJ・SW: This model is primarily for flange mounting or shaft mounting. This specifies the SWJ Series for sizes 70 or smaller, and the SW Series for sizes 80 or above.

EWJM(R)・EWM(R): This is the EWJ Series or EW Series with a motor installed.

SWJM(R)・SWM(R): This is the SWJ Series or SW Series with a motor installed.

Size

This indicates the size of the gear reducer.

Mounting Position

E  or  T: On this type, the input shaft is located above the output shaft.
  E type applies to EWJ/EWJM/SWJ/SWJM Series with a reduction ratio of 1/60 or below; otherwise, the T type applies.

B: On this type, the input shaft is located below the output shaft.

V: On this type, the output shaft is vertical.

Reduction ratio

This indicates the reduction ratio.

This specifies single stage reduction for reduction ratios of 1/60 or less, two stage reduction for 1/100 or more.

Shaft Arrangement

This shows the relation of the input and output shafts to the mounting surface.

Refer to the catalog for details.

Motor Capacity

This indicates the motor capacity if the unit comes with a motor.

Motor Specifications

S or No symbol : Tsubaki will mount the standard motor prior to shipment.

SB,B: Tsubaki will mount the standard motor with brake prior to shipment.

SX: Tsubaki will mount the customer-supplied motor prior to shipment.

Y: This specifies the unit will have a motor flange for the customer to mount their own motor.

Option symbol

Z: This specifies a motor that can be used with a variable frequency drive.

W: This specifies a motor suitable for outdoor installation.

V:  This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 400/400/440 VAC, and 50/60/60 Hz.

V1: This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 380VAC, and 50Hz.

V2: This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 380VAC, and 60Hz.

V3: This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 415VAC, and 50Hz.

V4: This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 460VAC, and 60Hz.

N: This specifies compliance with the CE marking directives.

N2: This specifies compliance with UL standards.

*N3: This specifies CCC compliance.

H: This specifies an aluminum terminal box.

Q: The brake can be manually disengaged.

M: The motor can be turned manually from the fan side.

  The terminal box will be relocated to a position counterclockwise looking from the motor.

・ Direction of terminal box wiring outlet.

  The wiring outlet on the terminal box will be relocated to a position clockwise looking at the terminal box.
