Cause 1 | Overload operation | Solution | Reduce the load or increase the size of the gear box. |

Cause 2 | Dirty or deteriorated lubrication oil | Solution | Replace the oil with new oil. |
Cause 3 | Insufficient or too much lubricant | Solution | Supply an appropriate amount of lubricant. |
Cause 4 | Incorrect lubrication oil type | Solution | Replace the oil with a recommended type of oil. |
Cause 5 | High ambient temperature | Solution | Use a cooling system or change the position of the gear box. |
Cause 6 | No pressure vent | Solution | Attach a pressure vent. |
Cause 7 | No shaft alignment | Solution | Center the shaft accurately so it is in alignment with the system. |
