MZ-C, MG-C Series (For coupling ) Installation and Usage

  • 1. The cam clutch part uses the MZ series (here) and MG series (here), so please refer to the handling and usage instructions for each.
  • 2. Install the cam clutch side on the high-speed overrunning shaft.
  • 3. When ordering, be sure to specify the engaging rotation direction of the inner race as viewed from the arrow direction (MZ-C、MG-C) on the construction diagram on the product page. (RH) for right-hand rotation engagement and (LH) for left-hand rotation engagement.
  • 4. When mounting on both shafts, center the shafts as precisely as possible. Accurately align both sprockets by checking with a straight edge on the teeth of both sprockets. Check if the clearance (S) between the two sprockets is correct and then wrap the chain around the sprockets.
  • 5. Lubrication and handling of couplings should be the same as for Tsubaki roller chain couplings.
  • 6. MG-C is not shipped with lubricant, so please apply the recommended lubricant before use.
