6. Storage

Do not store chains or sprockets in areas where they will be exposed to, or risk exposure to, dust or water.

Carefully brush lubrication on the edge face of the boss and sprocket holes especially to prevent rusting.

Chains are not treated with an antirust treatment when delivered. Apply an anti-rust treatment when storing and check periodically.
