Global Series

The Global Series is a motor that complies with international directives, standards, and systems.

Tsubaki provides motors that comply with CE standards for Europe, UL standards for North America, and CCC standards for China.

※For models for South Korea, please refer to 4 below.

• ・CE compliance

  Products destined for the European market cannot be exported unless they are marked with a CE mark proving that they comply with the safety requirements defined by the European CE directive.

  A product is considered CE-compliant if it has the CE mark affixed to the product itself as proof of compliance with the CE directive.

• ・Declaration of Conformity “Declaration Conformity”

  Tsubaki has prepared the necessary self-conformance declarations for CE compliance.

• ・UL compliance

  UL is the abbreviation for “Underwriters Laboratories Inc.” and represents the safety testing standard used in the United States.

  A product is considered UL-compliant if it has the UL mark affixed to the product itself as proof of compliance through the use of a UL-compliant motor.

  Our products conform to both UL and CSA standards and are C-UR models.

  CCC is China Compulsory Certification system, and for exporting 1.1kW or smaller motors to China, it is necessary to indicate a "CCC mark" to prove compulsory certification.

• ・CCC mark licensing

  The CCC mark indicates that certification has been obtained from the China Quality Certification Center (CQC).

1. For Europe

Products exported to Europe must bear CE marking to show that they satisfy the safety requirements of applicable EC directives.

また、0.75kW以上のモータは欧州高効率規制「COMMISION REGULATION(EU)2019/1781欧州委員会規則(2019/10/1)」の効率基準値IE3(IEC60034-1:2017)を満足している必要があります。

2. For North America

North America has UL (Underwriters Laboratories) safety standards for U.S. Underwriters Laboratories and CSA (Canadian Standard Association) safety standards for Canada. cUL models meet both UL and CSA standards.

In addition, 0.75 kW to 375 kW motors must satisfy criteria for IE3 premium efficiency class (NEMA Premium) under the EISA (Energy Independence and Security Act) high-energy-efficiency regulations in the U.S., and the IE3 premium efficiency class (CSA C390) under the EEAct (Energy Efficiency Act) high energy-efficiency regulations in Canada.
