Oil lubrication (SWJMK, SWMK, EWJMK, EWMK)

• ・The 35- to 70-size reducers have an airtight construction, so, in most cases, there is no need to change the lubrication oil or add new lubrication oil. However, if operating conditions cause severe deterioration in the lubricating oil, change the oil after 2500 hours of operation. Doing so will extend the service life of the unit.
• ・Perform maintenance on the 80- and 100-size reducers according to the following key points.

• (1)For the first time after initial start of operation, change the oil shortly after 1,000 hours of operation or after a period of three months.
• (2)Subsequent changes: Depending on operating conditions, 5000 hours or one year, whichever comes first.

4. Pressure vent

• ・The 35- to 70-size reducers have an airtight construction, so pressure vents are not necessary.
• ・Check that the 80- and 100-size reducers are installed in the standard mounting direction, and then be sure to install the included pressure vent. After installation is complete, check the oil level using the oil gauge.
  For other than the standard installations, please specify at the time the order is placed.
