MZ Series  Handling Precautions

  • 1. Sprockets, gears, etc. to be mounted on the outer race should be inlet with the inner circumference E dimension of the outer race (see here) and securely attached with bolts of strength category 10.9 to the tapped holes on the outer race end face. (See installation example )
    Tolerance of f7 is recommended for the inlet section.
  • 2. Shaft diameter tolerance of h6 or h7 is recommended.
  • 3. Always use parallel keys and keep a clearance between the top of key and keyway.
  • 4. Key to be used should be in accordance with JIS B1301-1996 (New JIS) parallel key (standard type). Note that some key dimensions are not in accordance with the relationship between the shaft diameter and the key as specified by JIS.
  • 5. When inserting the shaft, apply pressure only to the face of the inner race only.
  • 6. For vertical mounting, please consult TSUBAKI.
  • 7. External thrust load should be supported by other devices, not by the Cam Clutch.
  • 8. Ambient temperature range is –5° to 40°C. Consult us for the temperature that exceeds this range
  • 9. Grease filled type. No lubrication maintenance required.
