After receiving the product you want us to inspect, we will carry out inspection and report on your request.
The causes of wear, breakage, corrosion, poor articulation, etc are estimated and countermeasures are proposed on request.
Information on the customer's operating environment, such as equipment, conditions of use and operating hours, may be necessary for accurate analysis and identification of the cause of faults.
Our dedicated staff can visit the site to check the condition of the product and have a preliminary meeting to discuss details before analysis.
Are you having trouble with these things?
- Using products suited best to the application and environment of each customer.
- Implementing measures to extend the lifespan of product by investigating cause of failure.
- Keeping examples of internal problems as part of past record
TSUBAKI Product Analysis
Analyzing returned products, and estimating their remaining lifespan and potential causes of failure such as wear, breakage, corrosion etc.
Providing detailed explanations of our analysis report and propose countermeasure specifications, if required.
[Inspection exsamples ]
1. Appearance / Wear
Inspection conducted on a part-by-part basis
We disassemble the products sent to us, inspect the appearance of each part, and measure the dimensions of each part.
Identify the damage
Identify damage occurring to the product, such as corrosion wear or interference with sprockets.

2. Metallographic structure/material
Identify materials and heat treatment methods
We disassemble the products sent to us, inspect the appearance of each part, and measure the dimensions of each part.
When investigating other companies' products, comparative evaluation of hardness with Tsubaki equivalent products is also available.
3. Fracture
Estimation of fracture causes
Through macroscopic observation of the fracture surface, the fracture mechanism is estimated.
We estimate the background and causes that led to the fracture and propose countermeasures.

Example of actual fracture inspection
The fracture surface of the broken pin was observed, and fatigue breakage starting from pitting corrosion was estimated to be the cause.
- Since it is assumed that fatigue breakage has progressed in other pins as well, the following countermeasures are proposed. :
- (1) Changed the pin to a material with high corrosion resistance
- (2) Review of lubrication amount and interval to maintain oil film on pin surface
