2.Sprockets are made to fit loosely on the shaft to absorb differences in thermal expansion between the chain and conveyor, and alignment errors between the sprocket and chain.
3.Sprockets can be also manufactured with other numbers of teeth, sprocket types, and materials than noted above (all machined items).
4.Use a cold rolled steel shaft.
5.When installing the sprockets on the shaft, the inscribedmarkings or identification marks should be used to orientthe sprockets so that they all face the same direction and to keep the position of the teeth aligned.
