Method of coupling with shaft

    • ・Key coupling :Applied range  NEF02~NEF700

      The common key-based coupling method. Keyway couplings of the new JIS normal type machined with standard bores are available for rapid delivery.

    • ・Taper-Lock fastening (Non-backlash ) :Applied range  NEF04~NEF25

      A friction coupling method that uses special Taper-Lock hubs to achieve high torque in a compact size.
      Ideal for servomotor drive.

      A friction coupling method using a single bolt per hub. The bolts are fastened from the direction perpendicular to the shaft, reducing space in the shaft direction.

      A friction coupling method combining an EL Series Power-Lock with a pressure flange. Combination with the POWER-LOCK of other series is also possible. Contact us.

Kind of hub

  • ・Standard Hubs

    A standard hub that is normally applied.

  • ・Extended Dia. Hub

    If the transmission capacity has sufficient leeway but the shaft diameter exceeds the maximum bore diameter of a standard hub, there is no need to use a larger size model if you use an enlarged hub with a larger boss diameter (ØH in the drawing below).

  • ・Long Hub

    If the key contact pressure is too high when using standard hubs, it can be lowered by using extended hubs with an extended hub length (B in the drawing below).

  • ・Square hub

    A type used by combining an EL Series Power-Lock with a pressure flange set. Taps for pressure bolts are provided.

Long spacer

    Can be used as a floating shaft when the distance between shafts is large.

  • ・Large Allowable Eccentricity

    Can absorb a large amount of eccentricity depending on the spacer length.

  • ・Suitable for Line Shaft Drive

    Suitable for line shaft drive in combination with miter gearbox.

  • ・Long Spacer Type Couplings in Stock

    Long spacers with specific dimensions are always in stock and available for quick delivery. JS type is designed with balance equivalent to G6.3/1800r/min.

  • ・Capable of accommodating up to 6m of hub face distance.

    Supports hub face distances up to 6000 mm.
